Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz’s Visit to Uzbekistan

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz met with Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent. The meeting discussed the current cooperation between Turkey and Uzbekistan as well as new investment opportunities.

Economic Cooperation and Investment Opportunities Discussed

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz visited Uzbekistan to attend the 3rd International Tashkent Investment Forum. During his visit, Yılmaz met with Uzbekistan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Cemshit Kuchkarov in the capital, Tashkent. The meeting covered mutual investments in areas such as agriculture, construction, energy, water management, transportation, and banking-finance, along with political, economic, and cultural relations between Turkey and Uzbekistan.

Meeting with President Mirziyoyev

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz later met with Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the Presidential Office. The meeting evaluated the current cooperation and new investment opportunities between the two countries. Yılmaz expressed their close monitoring and appreciation of the reform and development process under President Mirziyoyev’s leadership.

Cevdet Yılmaz shared on his social media account after the meetings, stating, “Within the framework of our common historical and cultural ties with Uzbekistan, we will continue to strengthen our existing friendship and brotherhood with the motto ‘Unity in language, thought, and action.'”
