President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who came to the US capital Washington DC to attend the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit, continues his meetings. President Erdoğan met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni within the scope of the summit.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between Turkey and Italy, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed. President Erdoğan stated that the relations between the two countries will continue to develop with steps to be taken, and they will continue to work for this.
President Erdoğan mentioned that Turkey is doing its best to end the tensions in the region through peaceful means, and emphasized that all countries should make efforts for this.
