Visit to Atatürk Monument
Turkey Grand National Assembly (TBMM) President Numan Kurtulmuş visited the monument of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in the capital city of Cuba, Havana, as part of an official visit. Kurtulmuş, as the President of TBMM, laid a wreath with ‘President of TBMM’ written on it at the Atatürk Monument, paid his respects, and took a photo in front of the monument.
Visit to Havana Immunology Center
TBMM President Numan Kurtulmuş and his delegation visited the Cuba Molecular Immunology Center to learn about the production of innovative biotechnological drugs and research in the field of health. It was learned that the center was established in 1994 and focuses on cancer research and other non-communicable diseases. Additionally, it was mentioned that the ‘Abdala’ vaccine developed in the context of the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic is also produced at this center.
