Democratic Party presidential candidate and U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris has announced her readiness to debate live with Republican Party presidential candidate Donald Trump.
As the presidential elections approach in the U.S., Democratic Party presidential candidate Kamala Harris continues to make statements against Trump. Harris stated that she is ready to debate live with Republican Party presidential candidate Donald Trump. Trump, in a statement made on Tuesday, expressed his desire to “definitely” debate with Harris and said he is “actually willing to participate in multiple debates,” adding, “I haven’t participated in anything. I agreed to participate in a debate with Joe Biden. But I want to debate him, and it won’t be different because they have the same policies. I think participating in a debate is important for the presidential race; I really believe that. You have a kind of obligation to participate in the debate.”
Fox News, based in the U.S., had proposed to organize a live debate between Trump and Harris on September 17. It was stated that the debate would take place in the swing state of Pennsylvania, moderated by Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.
On the other hand, following the poor performance exhibited by U.S. President Joe Biden during the live debate with Trump on June 27, there have been calls for him to “withdraw from candidacy.”
