France Opposes Welfare City Attack on Israel

The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs opposed Israel’s possible military operation in Rafah, reminding that forcibly displacing a civilian population within the framework of international law is a war crime. France emphasized its strong opposition to any attack on Rafah, where 1.3 million people have sought refuge.
In a statement by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was mentioned that the Foreign Minister reiterated this message during his visit to Israel and the President also conveyed the same stance to the Israeli Prime Minister. France emphasized the need for a lasting ceasefire to secure the release of hostages and protect the civilian population.
Meeting Between Macron and Netanyahu
French President Emmanuel Macron, in a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday, called for successful negotiations with Hamas for the release of hostages. Macron stated his opposition to any military intervention in Rafah and expressed that he will continue to condemn any attack.
