With only a few days left until the presidential election on November 5 in the U.S., President Joe Biden cast his early vote in Delaware, voting for Vice President Kamala Harris.

There are only a few days left until the presidential election on November 5 in the U.S. President Joe Biden voted early in Delaware. Biden, who waited in line for about 37 minutes at the voting center in Wilmington, cast his vote for Vice President Kamala Harris. During the voting, an official announced, “Joseph Biden is now voting.” After casting his vote, Biden emphasized the importance of the electoral process by saying to the journalists surrounding him, “This feels really good.” He then met outside with first-time voters at the center, took photos with young voters, and highlighted efforts to increase voter participation among Democrats.

Biden withdrew from the presidential race

President Biden had been in the presidential race until last July but withdrew his candidacy under intense pressure from the Democratic Party after a live debate in which he fell short of expectations against former President Donald Trump, deciding to support Harris’s campaign. Despite withdrawing his candidacy, Biden participated in some campaign events with Harris. However, as election day approached, Biden’s active role in the field diminished, and it was announced that the two do not plan to hold an event together next week. While Biden continues to make statements supporting Harris’s candidacy, Democratic presidential candidate Harris has held joint events with former President Barack Obama during the campaign process to reach a broader voter base.

Harris has not voted yet

Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has not voted yet. In a statement to reporters last Friday, Harris mentioned that voting is “on her priority list for the next few days.” Meanwhile, Harris’s vice presidential candidate and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz voted with his family last week in St. Paul.
