Donald Trump, who won the U.S. presidential elections, announced that Dan Scavino, Stephen Miller, James Blair, and Taylor Budowich, who served as advisors during his election campaign, will serve as senior staff in the White House. Trump stated about the four individuals, “I know they will serve the American people honorably in the White House.”
Donald Trump, who won the presidential elections held on November 5 in the U.S. and is expected to take office on January 20, 2025, announced new names who will take on senior roles in the White House. Trump appointed Dan Scavino, an advisor during his election campaign, as his assistant and deputy chief of staff. He also announced that Stephen Miller, another advisor who worked on the election campaign, would be assigned as his assistant and deputy chief of staff responsible for policy and homeland security. Trump revealed that James Blair, who was previously the Political Director of the Republican National Committee, would become the deputy chief of staff responsible for legislation, politics, and public affairs. He stated that Taylor Budowich, who held senior management roles in his political organizations, would serve as his assistant and deputy chief of staff responsible for communications and personnel. Trump said in his statement, “Dan, Stephen, James, and Taylor were ‘the best in their class’ advisors in my winning campaign, and I know they will serve the American people honorably in the White House.” Trump had previously stated that he would appoint Susie Wiles as the Chief of Staff of the White House.

Previously, Trump had publicly announced many names that would be in his cabinet and critical roles, nominating Matt Gaetz, a member of the House of Representatives from Florida, as Attorney General, and Florida Senator Marco Rubio as Secretary of State. Trump announced that he would nominate Pete Hegseth, a former soldier and host on Fox News, for the Department of Defense, and that he would nominate John Ratcliffe, who served as the Director of National Intelligence (FBI) from 2020 to 2021, to head the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Trump announced that he would nominate South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem for the Department of Homeland Security and that Michael Waltz, a former soldier and congressman from Florida, would serve as National Security Advisor.
