Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced that his country will cut diplomatic relations with Israel, stating, ‘If Palestine dies, humanity dies and we will not allow it to die.’
Amid Israel’s continuing attacks on the Gaza Strip, Petro mentioned that relations will be severed due to Israel having a ‘genocidal government.’ The Colombian President emphasized the importance of not compromising on humanity in the Palestinian issue, expressing that this step is a necessity for humanity.
