Students at Trinity College, located in the capital city Dublin of Ireland, are demanding the university to end its academic relations with Israel in response to the attacks on the Gaza Strip.

The students are expressing their demands by setting up camps on campus and obstructing access. They request the university management to cut academic ties with Israel and cease connections with companies that support Israel, stating that they will continue their actions indefinitely until these demands are met.

The students camping on campus are continuing their protests by blocking access to the Book of Kells exhibition, one of the university’s important tourist attractions. The university management decided to keep the exhibition closed today for security reasons.

Supporters of Palestine Also Held a Demonstration

In addition to the students, hundreds of supporters of Palestine organized a demonstration in front of the university to show their reactions against Israel. The demonstrators chanted slogans such as “Palestine will be free from the river to the sea”, “We are all Palestinians”, and “Stop the terrorist Israeli occupation”, while carrying Palestinian flags and banners with the inscription “Boycott racist Israel”.
