The Israeli army has been continuing its attacks on the Gaza Strip uninterruptedly since October 7th. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, as a result of 3 attacks carried out by the Israeli army on civilians in the last 24 hours, 32 people have lost their lives and 41 people have been injured. With these recent attacks, the total number of casualties has risen to 34,654, and the number of injured to 77,908.
CIA Director in Egypt
The negotiations for a prisoner exchange and ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, under the mediation of Egypt, Qatar, and the USA, are ongoing. CIA Director William Burns arrived in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, yesterday to participate in the negotiations. The current situation will be assessed in today’s meetings.
A Hamas official announced that an unnamed delegation will go to Cairo today. The Hamas delegation will provide a written response to Israel’s proposal and coordinate among all resistance groups. The official stated, ‘There is an agreement on the demands of the resistance.’
