Following the ceremonial opening of Albania’s first NATO Tactical Air Base, Bayraktar TB2 UAVs flew in Albanian skies, entering the inventory of the Albanian Armed Forces for the first time.
Albania’s first NATO Tactical Air Base, which makes a significant contribution to Turkey’s modernization and is a friendly and brotherly country, was ceremonially opened. The ceremony was attended by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and Albanian Defense Minister Niko Peleshi, as well as Tayyar Kağan Atay, the Ambassador of Turkey to Tirana, Major General Göksel Kahya, the Head of the NATO Turkish Military Representative (TMR) Team, and Haluk Bayraktar, the General Manager of Baykar. During the ceremony, Bayraktar TB2 UAVs flew in Albanian skies, entering the inventory of the Albanian Armed Forces for the first time.
