Netanyahu’s Message

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to the threat of the U.S. to stop arms supply by saying, ‘If we need to be alone, we will be alone. As I have said before, if necessary, we will fight with our nails,’ Netanyahu stated that his country has strengthened since declaring independence in 1948.

Netanyahu’s Warning

In his released video message and interview, Netanyahu emphasized that Israel is determined against its enemies and expressed that despite disagreements with the U.S., he will not hesitate to take the necessary steps to ensure his country’s security. He also expressed hope that disagreements with Biden will be overcome.

Netanyahu: ‘We have had agreements frequently but we have also had differences of opinion, and we have managed to overcome them. Hopefully, we can now overcome these as well, but we will do what is necessary to protect our country.’

The incident that came to the agenda with U.S. President Joe Biden’s statement that he will stop sending weapons to Israel in response to the threat of a ground operation in Rafah, Gaza, had increased the tension between the parties.
