Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş visited the Yunus Emre Institute in the capital of Mexico, Mexico City, during his visit for the 10th MIKTA Parliamentary Speakers’ Meeting. Kurtulmuş met with students learning Turkish at the Yunus Emre Institute, received information about their work from the Coordinator of Yunus Emre Institute in Mexico, Salih Gültekin, and later chatted with the students. The visit was also attended by Murat Emir, the Deputy Group Chairman of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) and Member of Parliament for Ankara; Filiz Kılıç, the Deputy Group Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and Member of Parliament for Nevşehir; Ahmet Gökhan Sarıçam, the Chairman of the Turkey-Mexico Parliamentary Friendship Group and Member of Parliament for Kırklareli from the Justice and Development Party (AK Party); Selman Özboyacı, Member of Parliament for Konya from the AK Party; and Ilhan Kemal Tuğ, the Ambassador of Turkey to Mexico.
