Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz’s Visit to Uzbekistan
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz visited Uzbekistan and held important meetings with Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Cooperation and Investment Opportunities with Uzbekistan
During Yılmaz’s visit to Tashkent, discussions were held regarding the existing cooperation between Turkey and Uzbekistan as well as new investment opportunities. Mutual investments in areas such as agriculture, construction, energy, water management, transportation, banking, and finance were particularly evaluated.
High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council Meeting
During the meeting between Yılmaz and President Mirziyoyev, Yılmaz was invited to the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meeting to be held in Turkey on June 6, 2024. This meeting will further strengthen the strategic cooperation between Turkey and Uzbekistan and pave the way for new initiatives.
Cevdet Yılmaz: “Our bilateral trade with Uzbekistan, based on the win-win principle, is increasing day by day. It is gratifying to witness the transformation of the country through the reforms Uzbekistan is pursuing. We will further advance the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.”
