Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş’s Visit to Cuba
The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş met with the Vice President of Cuba, Salvador Valdes Mesa, during his official visit to Cuba. Kurtulmuş discussed important issues during his meetings in Havana.
Meeting between Kurtulmuş and Mesa
During the meeting at the Revolution Palace, Kurtulmuş and Mesa exchanged views on bilateral relations, global, and regional issues. Emphasizing Turkey’s humanitarian foreign policy approach valuing its relations in all geographies, Kurtulmuş stated that they aim to strengthen cooperation with Cuba in all fields.
Furthermore, Kurtulmuş also discussed Israel’s attacks on Gaza during the meeting. Kurtulmuş appreciated the support of the Cuban people for Palestine and highlighted the necessity of acting together for a just and egalitarian world order in the international arena.
