The cabinet of Donald Trump, who won the presidential elections held on November 5 in the USA and is expected to take office on January 20, 2025, is becoming clear. In a statement, Trump announced the nomination of Representative Matt Gaetz from Florida as Attorney General. Trump said, “I am greatly honored to announce that Matt Gaetz has been nominated as the Attorney General of the United States. Matt is an extremely talented and determined lawyer who studied at the William & Mary Law School and has demonstrated himself in Congress, focusing on the desperately needed reforms in the Department of Justice.”
Trump conveyed that Gaetz would put an end to the government’s use of justice as a weapon, stating, “He will protect our borders, eradicate criminal organizations, and restore the badly shaken faith and trust of the American people in the Department of Justice.”
