Trump revealed another significant name to the public for his cabinet. He stated that he would nominate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., known for his anti-vaccine stance, to the Department of Health and Human Services. Trump said, “Americans have been deceived, misinformed, and oppressed for a long time by industrial food complexes and pharmaceutical companies that manipulate public health.” He added, “The safety and health of all Americans is the top priority of any administration. HSS will play a major role in protecting everyone from harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, and food additives that contribute to the overwhelming health crisis in this country.” Trump expressed that Kennedy would return the institutions under HSS to scientific research traditions and principles of transparency to “end the chronic disease epidemic” and “make America great and healthy again.”
