A chain accident occurred in the Seongbuk district of the South Korean capital Seoul at 09:21 local time when a concrete mixer collided with a truck from behind. According to a statement by the police, it was reported that 17 people were injured in the accident involving 13 vehicles, including a motorcycle. It was stated that the condition of the truck driver and one vehicle driver was serious, and the injured were taken to the hospital.
Many vehicles involved in the accident became unusable, and the teams that arrived at the scene started working to remove the vehicles.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
