After news emerged that a doctor specializing in Parkinson’s disease visited the White House 8 times, the White House stated that US President Joe Biden has not undergone Parkinson’s treatment.

The White House denied allegations that US President Joe Biden received treatment for Parkinson’s disease. Following reports that Neurologist Dr. Kevin Cannard, specializing in movement disorders and recently published an article on Parkinson’s, visited the White House eight times from last summer to this spring, the White House made a statement. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, in a press briefing, refused to confirm Cannard’s visits, stating that she wanted to respect everyone’s privacy. Jean-Pierre stated that Biden saw a neurologist three times in connection with his annual physical exams and clarified that Biden has not undergone Parkinson’s treatment.

Concerns have been raised about a previously undisclosed illness since Biden’s performance in a live debate with presidential candidate Donald Trump on June 27.
