Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, met with the President of the Chamber of Deputies of Mexico, Marcela Guerra Castillo, in the capital city of Mexico, Mexico City. Kurtulmuş stated that the current world system lacks the ability to solve humanitarian problems such as global warming, migration, and climate change, and does not have the capacity to prevent wars.

Kurtulmuş emphasized the need for joint efforts to establish a fair, just, new international system. The Palestinian Issue and Mexico’s Stance

Kurtulmuş highlighted that the international community remains silent against the severe humanitarian crimes in Gaza and underscored the importance of countries standing by the Palestinian people. He also conveyed his gratitude for Mexico’s supportive stance towards the Palestinian people and shared the belief in the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital.
