The Russian army has started exhibiting Western-origin weapons and equipment seized from Ukraine such as the US, France, and Germany at Victory Park. Since the beginning of the war on February 24, 2022, Russia has been displaying military equipment and weapons seized in Ukraine, showcasing equipment from Western countries such as the USA, France, Finland, Germany, Sweden, Australia, and Austria at the exhibition held in Victory Park in the capital Moscow.
The exhibition includes 30 tanks and armored vehicles, including the American Bradley armored combat vehicle, M1 Abrams tank, German Leopard 2 tanks, Swedish CV90 armored combat vehicle, British M777 howitzer with Husky armored vehicle, and French AMX-10RC armored vehicles. In the entrance section of the exhibition, there is the German Marder 2 type armored combat vehicle seized by the Soviet army during the Second World War.
In a statement by the Russian Ministry of Defense, it was said, “In the exhibition area, light and heavy weapons of foreign states’ armies that are members of the NATO military-political bloc, as well as Ukrainian neo-Nazis’ unmanned aerial vehicles, communication vehicles, and equipment, are being exhibited.” The statement emphasized that no military equipment sent by the West could change the situation on the battlefield and included the phrase “The enemy will be defeated.”
The exhibition, visited by a large number of Russian citizens, will remain open until May 31.
