The statement made by Russia indicated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been added to the wanted list. Zelensky became a target during the war that Russia launched against Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs recorded details such as Zelensky’s birthplace, date of birth, and the date he took office as the President of Ukraine in the database related to his addition to the wanted list.
Prior to this, Russia had also added Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas to the wanted list. These actions are among the measures Russia has taken against the leaders of other countries.
