According to a survey conducted by the Wall Street Journal, Republican presidential candidate and former U.S. President Donald Trump is leading over his Democratic rival Kamala Harris by a margin of 47% to 45%.

With only a few days left until the presidential election to be held on November 5 in the U.S., the Wall Street Journal, one of the country’s established newspapers, shared the results of a survey conducted with 1,500 registered voters between October 19-22. 47% of participants stated they would vote for former U.S. President and Republican candidate Donald Trump, while 45% expressed their intention to vote for U.S. Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.

In the latest survey by the Financial Times, 44% of voters indicated they trust Trump more on economic issues, while the percentage of those who trust Harris remained at 43%.

According to data from the University of Florida’s Election Lab, 25 million voters have cast their ballots either in person or by mail during the early voting period that has begun.
