President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, during his visit to Washington for the NATO Summit, met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

During the meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, bilateral relations between Turkey and Hungary, Turkey’s EU accession process, and regional and global issues were discussed. President Erdoğan emphasized in the meeting that Turkey continues its peaceful efforts for the cessation of the Ukraine-Russia war and Israel’s attacks on Gaza, highlighting the need for the international community to increase its efforts for peace in these regions.

President Erdoğan also expressed that during Hungary’s term presidency, Turkey expects support in revitalizing the EU accession process and advancing relations.
