The President of Kazakhstan, Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, announced that negotiations for a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia will take place in the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan.
President Tokayev stated that the meetings between the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia would facilitate the practical implementation of the peace agreement. He emphasized the significance of the meeting in Almaty, as it commemorates the historic Almaty Declaration signed among the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in 1991.
