NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated in a press conference in the capital city of Prague, Czechia, that ‘Ukraine can still prevail. However, this can only be possible with the continuous and strong support of NATO allies.’ NATO foreign ministers are gathering in the capital city of Prague, Czechia. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg held a press conference with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala ahead of the informal meeting to be held tomorrow. Stoltenberg, expressing his pleasure to be in Prague, stated that Czechia is a reliable, strong, and highly valuable NATO ally. Stoltenberg mentioned that Czechia leads NATO’s combat group in Slovakia, stating, ‘By strengthening our combat groups in Latvia and Lithuania, you help deter all kinds of attacks. Your forces also serve in NATO missions in Kosovo and Iraq. You have supported Ukraine in the face of Russia’s brutal war of aggression. Czechia hosts hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees. You provide critical military equipment to Ukraine, including tanks, helicopters, and air defense missiles.’ Stoltenberg noted that ‘Ukraine continues to fight bravely.’ Stoltenberg highlighted that the first artillery shell delivery to Ukraine, initiated by Czechia, will take place very soon, emphasizing that the continuation of ammunition flow to Ukraine is very good news. Thanking Czech Prime Minister Fiala for hosting the upcoming informal meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers, Stoltenberg stated, ‘Continuing preparations for the summit in Washington will be important. When leaders come together in July, we will take further steps to invest in our security, strengthen our ties with partners, and increase our support for Ukraine. Ukraine continues to fight bravely, but the challenges they face are greater and increasing. Ukraine can still prevail. However, this can only be possible with the continuous and strong support of NATO allies.’
