Ministers of Trade and Treasury Attended a Meeting in France
The Ministers of Trade and Treasury attended an important meeting held in France. Economic issues were discussed at the meeting and cooperation opportunities were evaluated.
Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat and Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek attended the opening session of the 2024 OECD Ministers Meeting held in France. The two ministers held important meetings within the scope of the event held in the capital, Paris.
Statements by Minister Bolat
Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat stated in his remarks regarding the meeting, “On this occasion, I would like to express that we will continue our efforts to sustainably increase our country’s foreign trade in line with our export-oriented growth strategy in all political platforms, aiming to bring it to much better positions.”
Bolat expressed, “We sincerely believe that the discussions we will have through this major event will directly impact our country’s foreign trade and the welfare of our people.”
