Minister Goktas attended the Reception for the 60th Year of Migration held at the TOBB Brussels Representation. Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Ozdemir Goktas met with representatives of the Turkish community in the capital Brussels to mark the 60th anniversary of migration to Belgium. Speaking at the event, Minister Goktas stated, ‘We believe that we will build a great and strong Turkey together with the Turkish diaspora who establish sincere connections with the countries they live in without forgetting their own identities. With this belief, especially in the last 22 years, we have made and continue to make great efforts to ensure that our citizens carrying the tolerant climate of Anatolia to Europe do not feel alone. We will continue to strengthen our emotional bonds at every opportunity.’
