Kazakhstan to Host Peace Agreement Negotiations Between Azerbaijan and Armenia

The President of Kazakhstan, Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, announced that the negotiations for a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia will take place in the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan.
President Tokayev expressed his satisfaction with the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Almaty to reach a mutual agreement in preparation for the peace agreement.
Emphasizing the significance of this important meeting taking place in Almaty, where the historic Almaty Declaration was signed in December 1991 among the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries to define borders, Tokayev stated that the discussions in Almaty will facilitate the practical implementation of Azerbaijan-Armenia agreements and contribute to achieving lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
