The organizers of the Euronaval Defense Fair, an international military maritime fair to be held in France, stated, “The French government has approved the participation of Israeli delegations in the fair, but has prohibited Israeli companies from setting up booths or showcasing products.”

Israeli companies are banned from setting up booths at the Euronaval Defense Fair, which will take place in Paris, the capital of France, from November 4 to 7. They will only be able to be represented at the delegation level.

The organizers of the Euronaval Defense Fair stated, “The French government has approved the participation of Israeli delegations in the fair, but has banned Israeli companies from setting up booths or showcasing products. This decision was officially communicated on October 15.”

The organizers noted that this decision affects seven Israeli companies and emphasized that they will host every company and visitor in accordance with international and governmental directives.

The decision taken by France has been met with a strong reaction from the Israeli government. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated, “France’s decision to exclude the Israeli defense industry is supporting Israel’s enemies during wartime. France is following a hostile policy towards the Jewish people, and this is not the first time in history. We will continue our struggle for our existence and future, with or without them.”

Previously, France had also banned Israeli companies from participating in the International Defense and Security Fair (Eurosatory) held in Paris from June 17 to 21. The French Ministry of Defense had stated that the conditions for the companies to participate in the fair were no longer suitable.
