French newspaper Liberation mocked Gazans’ struggle with hunger
The French newspaper Liberation mocked the Gazans struggling with hunger and those who lost their lives due to the Israeli blockade with its insolent caricature.
While 27 people have lost their lives due to hunger and thirst in the Gaza Strip, where Israel has not allowed sufficient entry of food and medical supplies, the French newspaper Liberation mocked the Gazans struggling with hunger and those who lost their lives with its insolent caricature. The newspaper depicted a Palestinian man trying to catch mice and cockroaches, while a Palestinian woman stopped him from doing so by hitting his hand as it was not yet time for iftar, due to the beginning of the Ramadan month. The caricature also included the hand of a person trapped under the rubble of a building bombed by the Israeli army.
