Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan Continues Diplomatic Efforts in Gambia
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan’s diplomatic efforts in Gambia are continuing at full speed. The aim is to strengthen relations and increase cooperation.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, is holding important meetings in Gambia, where he came to attend the 15th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Fidan discussed strategic issues with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian during their meeting in the capital city of Banjul, Gambia. It was agreed to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
During his visit to Gambia, Fidan also stood out with other significant meetings. He discussed cooperation opportunities on regional and global issues with Nasser Bourita, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad of Morocco, Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Hussein Awad Ali Mohammed, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Sudan, Jeyhun Bayramov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Salah Jama, the Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia, and Adama Barrow, the President of Gambia.
