Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp met with Palestinian Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed Mustafa in Ramallah.
Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp arrived in Palestine for an official visit. Veldkamp met with Palestinian Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed Mustafa in Ramallah. The two discussed the attacks in the Gaza Strip and Israel’s military operations in the occupied West Bank. During the meeting, Prime Minister Mustafa emphasized that the European Union (EU) and its member states must take serious steps to stop the violence in the occupied West Bank. Mohammed Mustafa called for more pressure to be applied to stop Israel’s economic blockade on Palestinian tax revenues and the cutting of funds, and he thanked the Netherlands for its assistance to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the war.
Dutch Foreign Minister Veldkamp underscored the importance of achieving a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, delivering urgent aid and medical assistance, and stopping attacks on the occupied West Bank.
