The United Nations (UN) expressed its condolences to Iran. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guteress’s Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric expressed Guteress’s deep sorrow for the loss of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in a helicopter crash yesterday, stating, ‘The Secretary-General extends his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased, the Iranian government, and the people of Iran.’
