During Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Serbia, 28 cooperation agreements were signed between Serbia and China. The relationship between the two countries was elevated to the level of a “common future.”

Cooperation Agreements and Joint Declaration

28 documents were signed between the Chinese and Serbian governments on infrastructure, trade, science, ecology, technology, culture, sports, justice, and the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative. In addition, a joint declaration was issued regarding the elevation of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries and the construction of a “common future.”

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic emphasized the strong friendship between China and Serbia that no one can break, expressing his thanks to China. Chinese President Xi Jinping stated that a new era has begun in the relationship between the two countries, pointing out that Serbia is the first country in Europe where China is building a shared future.

China’s Support and Serbia’s Stance on International Issues

Aleksandar Vucic praised China’s investments and support for Serbia, expressing confidence in China’s strong support for Serbia’s stance on international issues. Additionally, Vucic thanked China for its support on the Kosovo issue.

Mutual Support between China and Serbia

Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasized Serbia’s determination to protect its territorial integrity and sovereignty, stating that the strong cooperation between the two countries will continue on the international stage. Xi Jinping announced that China will always support Serbia going forward.
