2 people lost their lives and 20 houses turned to ashes due to the forest fire that broke out in the Valparaiso region of Chile.
Forest fires that broke out in the Valparaiso region in the center of Chile on Wednesday evening spread to homes. The National Disaster Prevention and Response Service (Senapred) issued a red alert, and some areas were evacuated. Officials reported that the lifeless bodies of 2 people were found in a house. Chilean President Gabriel Boric stated in his remarks that 20 houses were turned to ashes in the fire in the region.
On the other hand, in forest fires that broke out in Valparaiso at the beginning of February, 134 people lost their lives, and more than 8,000 houses were destroyed.
