• During the voting process that took place in 21 states and union territories across India in 7 stages, the extreme heat affected the election process.
• It was reported that 33 election officials in the Uttar Pradesh state lost their lives due to heatstroke, and at least 10 people lost their lives in Bihar yesterday due to extreme heat.
• It was stated that compensation will be paid to the families of the deceased.

Following the completion of the long voting process in the country yesterday, according to the exit polls announced, it is expected that the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi will win the election. The vote counting is expected to take place on Tuesday and the results are expected to be announced on Tuesday evening.
