Nomina del nuovo Primo Ministro in Russia

In Russia, Vladimir Putin, who was sworn in last Tuesday for his 5th term as president, signed a decree appointing Mikhail Mishustin as the Prime Minister of Russia.

Following the presidential elections in March in Russia, the Russian government, which resigned, was redefined today in the lower house of the Russian parliament, Duma, where a vote was held for Mikhail Mishustin to be reappointed as the Prime Minister. Mishustin, re-elected as the Prime Minister by the votes of the members of parliament, was officially approved by the parliament.

With the decree signed by Putin, Mikhail Mishustin became the Prime Minister of Russia again and will present the names he has chosen for the cabinet to Putin within the next week. The Russian government will take shape in the coming week.

In January 2020, Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed the then Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and appointed Mikhail Mishustin in his place. The reappointment of Mishustin as the Prime Minister is noted as a politically significant development in Russia.
