The Automechanika fair, one of the significant exhibitions of the automotive service industry held in Frankfurt, Germany, opens its doors to visitors, allowing 4,200 companies from 80 countries to showcase their products.
ZF Aftermarket, a company that supplies highly advanced products and systems for the mobility of cars, commercial vehicles, and industrial technology, offers visitors the opportunity to closely examine and test new models in a large forum area at the Automechanika fairgrounds. The company, which launches a range of cutting-edge products that significantly improve the uptime of passenger cars and commercial vehicles, signals its commitment to providing high-quality solutions while contributing to a sustainable future.
Andre Scholle, ZF Aftermarket IMEA Regional Director, states that Turkey is one of the markets with the greatest potential, saying, “From a regional perspective, Turkey is among the countries with the highest growth potential in all our business lines, whether it is passenger vehicles, commercial, or industrial.”
Scholle believes they are on a very good path, stating, “Especially in the last few years, we have significantly increased our local footprint in Turkey, which has allowed ZF to grow very strongly in the Turkish market. We have a strong local team on the ground.”
ZF Aftermarket Turkey General Manager Selim Aydınlıoğlu emphasizes, “ZF is shaping the future of the independent aftermarket with technological leadership and innovative service solutions. When we look at Turkey, there are two important factors that we are firmly focused on. The first is to maximize the uptime of all our stakeholders with our comprehensive portfolio of high-quality components. The second is to prepare independent service points for the future with the innovative solutions we offer in our service concepts.” Aydınlıoğlu adds, “At Automechanika Frankfurt, we are presenting our future-oriented, sustainable solutions that make a difference in service quality to our partners and stakeholders. For example, I can mention our electrification solutions and ADAS systems as important areas of work and innovation.”
Highlighting ZF’s innovation power and comprehensive solution range, Aydınlıoğlu states, “Essentially, we can say that we lead by providing the most accurate solutions to today’s and tomorrow’s mobility needs. ZF is at the forefront of developing and advancing technology in mobility. While ZF offers more than 20 product groups for braking systems, our TRW brake pads cover 97% of the vehicle fleet. With over 1,000 brake references for electric vehicles, we service 90% of the top 10 electric vehicles in Europe with TRW. In terms of shock absorbers, 85% of vehicles are covered by components from our other brand, SACHS.” Aydınlıoğlu adds, “One of the most important points is to reach independent repair points in the independent aftermarket, provide them with training along with technology, and especially prepare them for the future in electrification and ADAS. Therefore, we will continue to strengthen our presence in the field. With our technical team and training organization, we will introduce this technology strongly in the field to prepare our partners for the future and walk this path together with them.”
ZF Aftermarket President Philippe Colpron states that ZF Aftermarket focuses on promoting innovation and sustainability across all its product lines, saying, “We are determined to contribute to a sustainable future while providing our customers with the highest quality solutions. Our comprehensive portfolio of high-quality components enhances the longevity and safety of vehicles.” Colpron adds, “At the same time, our experts ensure the efficient resolution of any issues by providing expertise support and services for our partners, maximizing their uptime together. This is also an indication of how we create sustainable value in our ecosystem.”
ZF’s innovative solutions at Automechanika
ZF, which has a strong technology portfolio and develops ADAS solutions and calibration equipment for greater safety and comfort on the roads, is a global market leader by producing more than 10 million cameras annually. ZF Aftermarket also provides the necessary equipment and knowledge support for these systems. By offering ADAS calibration equipment alongside the new ZF [pro]Diagnostics portfolio, ZF provides comprehensive solutions for static and dynamic ADAS calibration. ZF [pro]Diagnostics ADAS calibration equipment facilitates sensor calibration with its digital technology.
By expanding its portfolio for electric and internal combustion vehicles, ZF aims to maintain its leadership in the passenger vehicle segment and highlights its lifecycle solution approach for electric powertrains and the “Look – Repair – Replace” strategy at Automechanika. With the expanded ZF Lifeguard eFluid and ZF Lifeguard Hybrid portfolio, ZF Aftermarket recently doubled its product range for electric and hybrid vehicles to ensure that more than 50% of electric vehicles in Europe can be properly maintained.
ZF Aftermarket has expanded its ADAS portfolio for commercial vehicles by adding WABCO parts, OnLaneALERT cameras, and OnGuard radar specifically for DAF and IVECO commercial vehicles, along with cameras, radars, and connections. Both systems help drivers recognize and respond to risky driving scenarios, thus actively contributing to higher road safety.
The twelve new repair kits ZF offers for the CeTrax system introduced at Automechanika reflect ZF Aftermarket’s customer-focused approach. ZF repair kits include all necessary components for quick ordering and easy repair of the CeTrax, a zero-emission electric central drive system for buses and trucks.
The ZF Smart Tachograph enhances safety and efficiency by providing fleet managers with real-time information. According to EU regulations, old tachographs must be upgraded to the Smart 2 model by August 21, 2025. The ZF Smart Tachograph increases operational transparency by collecting data such as driving and rest times, speed, and location, facilitating compliance with regulations.
