UN Security Council to convene on Gaza agenda
The United Nations (UN) Security Council is expected to convene at 00:15 (GMT) following Israel’s attack on Palestinians awaiting aid in the Gaza Strip.
After the Israeli army killed more than 100 people by firing at Palestinians awaiting aid in the Gaza Strip, the United Nations (UN) Security Council decided to convene upon the request of Algeria. The meeting, which will be held behind closed doors, is expected to begin at 00:15 (GMT).
112 people were killed in the attack
Palestinian Ministry of Health Spokesperson Ashraf al-Qudra stated that the number of fatalities in the Israeli army’s firing on civilians awaiting aid had risen to 112, and reported that there are still bodies that cannot be reached in the region. 760 people were also injured in the attack.
