The tense wait of displaced Palestinians in Rafah continues
The tense wait of over one million displaced Palestinian civilians who have sought refuge in the targeted city of Rafah by Israel persists.
While Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip have been ongoing for 136 days, the tense wait of over one million displaced Palestinian civilians who have sought refuge in the targeted city of Rafah by Israel continues. Egypt, on the other hand, has increased measures at the Rafah border to prevent any migration, installing barbed wire on the border fences.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry reiterated in his statement that they reject any attempt by Israel to conduct a possible military operation in Rafah and any effort that would force Palestinians to migrate outside of the Gaza Strip.
