In the attack on the concert hall in the Crocus Municipality Building in Krasnogorsk, a region of Moscow, 133 people lost their lives. Following the attack, leaders sent condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin, while people living in different parts of the world are also remembering those who lost their lives in the attack. Residents of Moscow, the capital of Russia, left flowers and teddy bears in front of both the municipality building where the attack took place and in other places for those who lost their lives in the attack.
Germans who came to the front of the Russian Embassy in Berlin, the capital of Germany, left flowers in front of the embassy building for those who died in the attack. Visitors who left small teddy bears for the children among those killed in the attack prayed for the deceased.
In Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, Danes left flowers in front of the Russian Embassy and lit candles in memory of the deceased.
Meanwhile, thousands of flowers were left in front of the Russian Embassies in Baku, Bishkek, Vienna, Chisinau, Beirut, and London.
Flags lowered for tomorrow
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced yesterday in his speech that a one-day national mourning would be declared for today. Russian flags in public buildings in the country were lowered to half-mast. The Russian flag in the Kremlin and the flags in the Legislative Assembly in St. Petersburg were lowered to half-mast.
