Protest from Ukrainian Activists to Russia

During the Victory Day celebrations on May 9 in the capital of Poland, Warsaw, Ukrainian activists organized a protest by shouting to denounce Russia’s attacks. At the ceremony held at the Soviet Military Mausoleum, Russian Ambassador Sergey Andreyev was met with slogans like ‘Terrorists, fascists’.

Polish Reaction Against Russia

Polish citizens attending the ceremony carried Russian flags and chanted slogans like ‘No to Ukropolin’, ‘No to war with Russia’. They also held banners with messages like ‘Unity of Slavs’, ‘The West used us in 1945, now they are using us for their own purposes’.

Call from the Front Movement

Krzysztof Tolwinski, the leader of the Front movement established by Polish citizens, emphasized the importance of Poland’s independence in his speech at the ceremony, highlighting that Western countries should not be trusted. Tolwinski opposed Poland being governed under the influence of Western countries.

Call for Slavic Unity

Colonel Tadeusz Kowalczyk, who participated in the war and emphasized the need for Slavic races to come together in the victory against Nazi Germany, underlined the importance of Slavs uniting.
