Protests against the Israeli government have entered their 3rd day in Jerusalem, which is under Israeli occupation, where thousands of people are gathered in front of the Israeli Parliament (Knesset) to protest against the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and call for early elections.
Carrying Israeli flags, the demonstrators demanded the resignation of the Netanyahu government and the release of all hostages in Gaza. They held banners accusing the government of inciting war and abandoning the Israeli people.
Einav Zangauker, the mother of an Israeli captive, likened Netanyahu to Pharaoh, saying, “It is your fault that my son Matan is in captivity. You have waged a campaign against me, against families, and against the Israeli people. Your supporters call us traitors, but you are the real traitor. You betrayed your people, your voters, and the Israeli nation.”
On the first day of the planned 4-day protest, demonstrators set up more than 100 tents in front of the Knesset.
