Salwan Momika, an Iraqi known for his ugly attacks on the Quran in Sweden and decided to be deported, will be deported from Norway after his asylum application was rejected.
Salwan Momika, known for his ugly attacks on the Quran in Sweden, saw his asylum application to Norway rejected by the Oslo District Court after Sweden’s authorities decided to deport him. It was reported that Momika was detained by the police on March 28 and will be deported.
After Momika was ordered to be detained for four weeks following the hearing on March 30, the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) decided to return him to Sweden in accordance with EU legislation.

Momika’s residence permit in Sweden will expire on April 16
Sweden revoked Momika’s residence permit last October, citing incorrect information provided in his initial application. Momika must leave Sweden when his residence permit expires on April 16, and if he does not, he will be banned from entering Sweden for five years. This ban will also apply to other Schengen countries, including Romania, Bulgaria, and Croatia.
Momika fled from Iraq to Sweden in 2018 and obtained a three-year residence permit in 2021. Momika gained notoriety for his ugly attacks on the Quran.
Meanwhile, some social media accounts claimed that Momika was found dead in Norway in recent days.
