According to information obtained from police sources, a male suspect entered a market in the city of Sapporo around 06:50 local time and injured 3 employees with a bread knife. Upon notification, a large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene, and the 43-year-old assailant Hirotaka Miyanishi was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
