Pro-Palestinian demonstrations that started at universities in the USA continue in France as well. Following the protests at the Institute of Political Sciences in Paris, education was paused for one day. While the university administration did not make a statement regarding the issue, according to news in the French media, the staff was instructed to work from home.

Students on Hunger Strike

A university committee consisting of pro-Palestinian students announced yesterday that a ‘peaceful sit-in protest’ would be held at the school, and stated that 6 students have started a hunger strike ‘in solidarity with Palestinians’. A student member of the committee stated that the hunger strikes would continue until the university board of directors agrees to review its relations with Israeli universities.
