A White House official, speaking to the US media, stated that Biden will visit Brownsville in the state of Texas on Thursday, and within the framework of his visit, he will meet with US Border Patrol personnel, law enforcement officers, and local leaders.
An official from Trump’s election campaign also announced that Trump will visit Eagle Pass in the state of Texas on the same day. According to the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll, the percentage of those approving Biden has dropped to 38%, while 17% of respondents consider immigration to be the most important issue facing the US today. This figure was 11% in December of last year.
