Atthapol warned the Thai people and tourists visiting the country to be cautious against the heatwave.
Record Temperature Recorded in Bangkok
A record average temperature was recorded in the capital city of Thailand, Bangkok. According to the data from the Thailand Meteorological Department, the hottest April in history was experienced in the capital, with recorded temperatures reaching up to 54 degrees in some places. Experts attribute the delay in the rainy season, which usually starts in May in the country, to the global climate change phenomenon.
