NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin is cooperating with Beijing, Pyongyang, and Tehran, which poses a threat to them, Japan, South Korea, and the USA. Mark Rutte said, “Our security is not regional but global. We must increase our cooperation with our partners in the Indo-Pacific.”

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte met with Polish President Andrzej Duda in the Polish capital Warsaw. In a press conference held after the meeting, Rutte also touched upon the war in Ukraine, stating, “We know that North Korean soldiers are going to Russia. We also know that this is not free. Putin is paying the price from Moscow. Not just with money, but also with the transfer of missile technology that poses a threat to us, South Korea, Japan, and the USA. China is also involved in Russia’s war efforts.” Rutte emphasized that they need to rapidly strengthen defense industry production at this point, expressing that bureaucracy must be completely cut down to implement new solutions. Rutte said, “Putin is cooperating with Beijing, Pyongyang, and Tehran. This shows that our security is not regional but global. Therefore, we must increase our cooperation with our partners in the Indo-Pacific, including South Korea, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.”

When asked by reporters about Donald Trump’s potential re-election, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte responded, “I look forward to discussing with President Trump and finding effective ways to advance our foreign policy together.”

Polish President Andrzej Duda stated that President Trump has expressed his respect for American taxpayers’ money many times, adding, “Considering how much the US has invested in helping Ukraine and the large sums transferred to Ukrainian defenders in various forms, my conclusion is clear. I cannot even imagine that President Donald Trump would allow Russia to destroy Ukraine.”
